Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Koshys Hospital - NABH Accredited. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care, assisting doctors in clinical procedures, and promoting a safe and nurturing environment for our patients. This is a full-time position with a focus on delivering excellent healthcare services to our patients.

Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in Nursing and valid state nursing license.

Junior level position with 1 to 3 years of experience in a hospital setting.

Strong knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and protocols.

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Ability to multitask and prioritize patient care.

Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records.

Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.

Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency situations.

Roles And Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures.

Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient responses to treatments.

Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.

Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including documenting patient information, treatments, and medications.

Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Adhere to infection control protocols and promote a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Handle emergency situations with calmness and efficiency, following established protocols.

Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest advancements in nursing practices.

Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients, treating them with dignity and respect.
