Job Overview

GullyHR is looking for a skilled and dedicated Physician Billing Specialist to join our team. As a Physician Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing healthcare billing claims and ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of medical billing procedures and regulations, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Qualifications And Skills

1-3 years of experience as a Physician Billing Specialist or similar role

Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures and regulations

Proficiency in using billing systems and software

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Fluency in English

Roles And Responsibilities

Review and analyze medical documentation to ensure accurate billing

Submit and process healthcare claims for reimbursement

Monitor and track claim status to ensure timely payment

Resolve billing and claim issues with insurance companies and healthcare providers

Communicate with patients and answer inquiries regarding billing

Stay updated on medical billing regulations and procedures

Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
