Job Description

Experience in developing custom visuals for Power BI and integration with SharePoint, Google Drive, Excel files and SQL server databases.

Hands-on experience in Data Preparation using the inbuilt features of Power BI

Integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation.

Experience in Data Modelling and custom calculations in Power BI Desktop

Having Experience in MSBI SSIS, SSAS, SSRS 2008r2

Report building and definitions

Use of Data models

Data source and data set manipulation

Understanding of linked servers and cross database queries

Basic understanding of Azure SQL and managed instance capabilities and restrictions

Developed complex calculated measures using data analysis expression language (DAX)

Developed complex reports and dashboards and supported the existing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI based on the end-user requirements.

Strong knowledge on working in Complex Queries, CTE, various types of Joins, Insert/Update/Delete, Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers.

Experienced in creating visualizations and reports with multiple backend platforms like SQL Servers, HD Insights, other Azure solutions.

Strong Experience on making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
