Job Overview

We are looking for a Production Manager Merchandiser to join our team at Cotton Concepts (CC). As a Production Manager Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing the production and merchandise operations of our home textile products. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is full-time and based in Karur, Tamil Nadu, India.

Qualifications And Skills

Proven experience as a Production Manager Merchandiser or a similar role in the textile industry

Strong knowledge of home textile production processes and materials

Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective supplier and buyer communication

Proficiency in using loom and woven production machinery

Ability to analyze production data and make data-driven decisions

Strong organizational and time management skills to manage production schedules

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or a related field

Roles And Responsibilities

Manage the production and merchandise operations of our home textile products

Coordinate with suppliers and buyers to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of materials

Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards

Collaborate with the design and development team to ensure successful product launches

Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer demands

Evaluate and improve production processes to optimize productivity and reduce costs

Track and analyze production data to identify trends and make informed decisions

Prepare reports and presentations to communicate production performance and strategies to management

Manage and train production staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce

Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to drive innovation in production techniques
