As a Pet Food Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging, informative, and accurate content related to pet food and nutrition.

You will play a crucial role in educating pet owners about the importance of proper nutrition and helping them make informed decisions about their pets' diets.

Your primary focus will be producing high-quality written material that educates and entertains pet owners, while also promoting our brand and products.

Responsibilities: Research and understand the latest trends and developments in the pet food industry.

Create engaging and accurate content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and marketing materials.

Write informative articles, product descriptions, and buying guides that help pet owners choose the right food for their pets.

Develop a deep understanding of pet nutrition and ingredients to provide accurate and reliable information.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute content strategies that align with business goals and objectives.

Ensure all content is well-structured, free of grammatical errors, and adheres to brand guidelines.

Conduct thorough research to gather relevant information and support claims made in the content.

Stay up to date with the latest industry research, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to pet food and nutrition.

Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to brand voice.

Collaborate with other team members, such as graphic designers and SEO specialists, to enhance content quality and reach.

Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's/Masters degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field Proven experience as a content writer, preferably with a focus on pet food or related industries.

Excellent command of the English language, including grammar and spelling.

Strong research skills and the ability to gather information from credible sources.

Familiarity with SEO best practices with excellent content optimization skills.

Ability to write in a conversational and engaging tone while maintaining accuracy and credibility.

Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit own work effectively.

A portfolio of previous writing samples demonstrating expertise in the pet food or related niche is highly desirable.

Work experience - 2 to 4 years
