Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Admission Counselor to join our team at East Point Group of Institutions. As an Admission Counselor, you will play a vital role in the admissions process, assisting prospective students in their journey to become part of our esteemed institution. This is a full-time position based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Qualifications And Skills

Junior level position with 1 to 3 years of experience in admissions counseling or a related field

Strong knowledge of the admissions process and educational programs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to effectively counsel and guide students in their career choices

Proven track record in tele-calling and convincing people

Experience in a BPO or customer service environment is a plus

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Proficiency in MS Office and admission management software

Roles And Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for prospective students and provide guidance throughout the admissions process

Conduct campus tours and provide detailed information about our programs, facilities, and admission requirements

Assist students in filling out the necessary application forms and documents

Evaluate applicant qualifications and make recommendations for admission

Stay up-to-date with the latest admission policies, trends, and regulations

Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless admissions process

Maintain accurate records of applicant data and update the admission database

Participate in admission events, such as career fairs and college fairs, to promote our institution

Provide career counseling and guidance to prospective students

Utilize effective communication and convincing skills to answer inquiries and address concerns

Handle tele-calling and follow-up activities to ensure a high conversion rate

Work closely with the academic team to align admissions with program requirements
