Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at CheckTech InfoComm & Power LLP. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in network engineering and will be based in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. This is a freelance position.

Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

4 to 6 years of experience in network engineering

Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols

Experience with network security technologies and best practices

Hands-on experience with network hardware and software, such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet devices

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are a plus

Roles And Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure to meet business requirements

Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network availability and performance

Perform network capacity planning and recommend enhancements to support business growth

Monitor network performance and proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks

Configure and optimize network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers

Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures

Manage network documentation and keep it up to date

Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in network technologies

Provide technical guidance and mentor junior network engineers

Full time
