Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Nephrology Physician Assistant to join our team at Chennai Urology And Robotics Institute. As a Nephrology Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to our nephrology department in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with kidney-related conditions. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, with an emphasis on providing high-quality patient care.
Qualifications And Skills
A Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field
Valid certification/licensure as a Physician Assistant
Fresher: Less than 1 year years of experience
Strong knowledge and understanding of nephrology
Proficiency in computer skills and electronic medical records
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience in dialysis and case history assessment is preferred
Roles And Responsibilities
Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with kidney-related conditions under the supervision of a nephrologist
Obtain and evaluate patient medical histories, including performing physical examinations
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
Assist in the management and coordination of patient care, including medication management
Perform procedures such as dialysis, including the setup and monitoring of equipment
Provide patient education on kidney disease management, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Adhere to established protocols and standards of care
Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities
