Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Transplant Coordinator to join our team at Chennai Urology And Robotics Institute. As a Transplant Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of organ transplantation, including pre-transplant evaluation, transplant surgery coordination, post-transplant care, and patient education. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, and requires 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field
1 to 3 years of experience in transplant coordination or a similar role
Knowledge of organ transplantation process and protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with different stakeholders
Empathy and compassion towards patients and their families
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
Roles And Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage all aspects of organ transplantation process
Perform pre-transplant evaluation of potential transplant recipients
Collaborate with the transplant surgeon, medical team, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth coordination
Schedule and coordinate transplant surgeries and post-transplant care
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to organ transplantation
Provide education and support to transplant recipients and their families
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of transplant process and patient records
Participate in transplant team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Stay updated with advances in organ transplantation and contribute to continuous learning and professional development
