Key Responsibilities:
Process insurance policies accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required information is complete and accurate
Enter client information, policy details, and other relevant data into the company's database or software systems with precision and attention to detail
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including policy forms, endorsements, and client correspondence
Provide administrative support to insurance agents or brokers, including handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, and responding to client inquiries
Process policy endorsements, amendments, cancellations, and renewals as required
Communicate with clients via email or phone to provide assistance and address queries
Assist with claims processing by gathering necessary information, liaising with clients, and facilitating communication between clients and claims adjusters
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements related to insurance documentation and data handling
Maintain organized records of policies, endorsements, and other relevant documentation, ensuring easy retrieval and reference when needed
Deliver excellent customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and providing accurate information regarding insurance policies and procedures
Collaborate effectively with other team members, including insurance agents, brokers, underwriters, and claims adjusters, to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in the insurance industry.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Knowledge of insurance policies, terminology, and procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
