Job Overview

Cotton Concepts (CC) is seeking a highly creative and experienced Home Textile Designer to join our team. As a Home Textile Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and visually appealing designs for our range of home textile products. This is a full-time position based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of experience in home textile design and possess a strong portfolio showcasing their design expertise.

Qualifications And Skills

More than 10 years of experience in home textile design.

Strong proficiency in home textile designing (NIFT background)

Excellent knowledge of buyer costing fabrics and design conversions.

Ability to generate unique and creative ideas for catalogue mood boards.

Demonstrated expertise in home textile design creativity and innovation.

Experience in team management and leadership.

Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Roles And Responsibilities

Create and develop unique and appealing designs for home textile products, including bedding, bath linens, curtains, and table linens.

Stay updated on the latest trends, color palettes, and patterns in the home textile industry.

Work closely with the product development team to ensure designs meet technical specifications and manufacturing requirements.

Collaborate with buyers and clients to understand their design requirements and preferences.

Prepare design presentations and mood boards to showcase design concepts and ideas.

Conduct market research to identify new design opportunities and consumer preferences.

Manage and oversee a team of designers, providing guidance and support.

Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth execution of design concepts.

Maintain a strong understanding of the target market and customer preferences.

Adhere to design timelines and deliver designs within specified deadlines.
