Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Embedded Engineer/Sr. Software Engineer to join our team at THETA Controls. As a Sr. Embedded Engineer/Sr. Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded software systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems and software development along with a passion for innovation.

Roles And Responsibilities

Responsible for guiding the design process from initial requirements gathering to code development, testing, and comprehensive debugging alongside hardware integration. Proficiency in key areas such as C or Embedded C programming is essential. Familiarity with vital test equipment like Digital Multimeters (DMMs) and Digital Storage Oscilloscopes (DSOs) is a must. Experience with either PIC or ARM processors is required, as is a working knowledge of commonly employed components in the field.

Additional Qualifications That Enhance Candidacy

Prior exposure to 8051 or other similar controllers, contributing to a well-rounded skill set.

Adeptness with Digital Signal Processors (DSPs), further bolstering technical capabilities.

Previous engagement with software standards like MISRA, showcasing commitment to quality and compliance.

Proficiency in Hardware design, underscoring a holistic understanding of project development.
