HVAC Sales Engineer Job Duties
HVAC sales engineers typically have a wide range of responsibilities, which can includes:
Must have knowledge on AC components or equipment's
Activities will range from pre-sale support such as estimating, quoting, and communicating with customers, as well as providing post-sale support by generating equipment submittals and providing on-site technical assistance to our customers.
Performing technical calculations to determine system requirements, including airflow rates and duct sizes.
Providing installation and maintenance services for equipment, such as furnaces, air conditioners, humidifiers, dehumidifiers and ventilation systems.
Developing proposals to meet clients needs, often working with architects or engineers to design custom solutions that meet building codes and satisfy regulations.
Recommending energy efficient products, such as programmable thermostats or solar panels, that can reduce clients operating costs while maintaining comfort levels.
Meeting with clients to discuss their needs and requirements, then preparing proposals that meet their requirements and specifications.
Consulting with clients throughout the purchasing process, from initial consultation to final installation
Creating proposals for new projects or services, detailing all costs associated with the project.
Assisting with the design and construction of new buildings by providing HVAC systems that are compatible with the structures layout and materials used in construction.
Evaluating existing HVAC systems to determine whether repairs are needed or if the system should be replaced entirely

Pay: 18,000.00 - 25,000.00 per month
