Position Summary:
A core team member of the Financial Planning & Reporting team at TripArc Inc. The Senior Financial Analyst, will be a key member of the group’s management reporting process, prepare insights-driven reporting, assist in the planning and budgeting process, and work closely with the business to influence the strategic direction and financial performance of the Company.
Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Reporting, the Senior Financial Analyst will have significant exposure to senior management with the opportunity to work closely with the various Business Unit (BU) Leaders, Marketing, Product & Technology, Strategy, and HR teams across the organization.
Essential Job Functions
Assist with annual planning and budgeting process through development of internal templates
Partner with business leaders and other stakeholders during the planning and reporting cycles
Perform variance analysis and provide insights on monthly results
Develop and maintain the mapping table dimensions from financial reporting to management reporting
Maintain, design, and automate supporting monthly reporting schedules
Assist with the implementation of Vena as the management reporting system of choice
Continuous improvement mindset in identifying and recommending solutions and efficiencies
Qualifications
3+ years prior Financial Planning & Analysis or related experience
Strong MS Excel skills including PowerPivot & PowerQuery
University or advanced degree in Business/Finance/Economics/Accounting or related fields; CPA, CFA, CBV or related designation or progress towards is an asset
Ability to analyze complex issues and develop impactful solutions with high degree of attention to detail
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic environment with significant change, ambiguity and adapting to evolving organizational requirements
Proactive with a self-starter / can-do attitude, with ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels of the organization
Ability to manage time effectively with short-term and long-term deliverables
Ability to deliver VBA/SQL would be considered an asset but not a requirement
Experience with Microsoft Navision, Vena, or Power BI tools is a plus
