ChampionX has an immediate need for a Warehouse Operator located in Singapore. This is your opportunity to join a growing company offering a competitive base salary and benefits.

What You will do:

Ensure a safe operation of warehouse.

MIGO (standard purchase orders)/ GR (process orders and subcon PO) of goods and services are timely updated.

Ensure that imported containers are unloaded within 3 calendar days and returned to yard.

Key administrator of inhouse Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Key administrator of inhouse shared file records of trucks movements.

Key administrator of picking for hotbox and production usage.

Print barcode labels for Raws and GHS labels for 3PL drumming.

Support forklift operation when it is necessary.

Support sampling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials when it is required.

Liaise with material and logistic planner of shipment document and arrival schedules (imports, transfers from 3PL and any local deliveries).

Conduct cycle and monthly stock count and inventory reconciliation done with appropriate GL account codes and authorized approval. This is inclusive of materials in bulk storage tanks.

Management of waste disposal are conducted within regulatory requirements.

Maintain operation readiness of forklifts, warehouse equipment and miscellaneous, hot-boxes, office tools, cold room and facilities, etc.

Manage ISO tanks holding area.

Ensure sufficient stocks of packaging materials – IBCs, bulk bags, labels, waste-water chemicals to support production.

Participate in EHCP programs as nominated or projects as assigned.

Position Details

Owns the KPI of safety, quality, operation excellence, etc set by the management for the warehouse operation.

Required to adhere to the plant’s guidelines on hairdressing requirements to pass the fit test of negative pressure full face respirator.

Must be willing to work in Jurong Island.

Must be willing to backup/support odd hours (inclusive Weekends and/or PH) of operation when it is required.

Minimum Requirements

Higher Nitec/ Diploma in Engineering or Logistics related discipline

3-5 years of related chemical operation experience

Possess valid forklift license

Knowledge of emergency response in relation to handling to chemical, fire and medical situations.

Self-starter with a strong focus on safety and quality. Independent with strong communication and influencing skills

Team player with good problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills

Results-oriented with a keen eye for details

Preferred Requirements

Basic user experience of SAP or any ERP system

Knowledge of WMS management will be advantage.
