Weighing Scales: Technicians should be capable of installation and calibration of weighbridges, weighing scales, Hopper scales, Floor scales, load cells, indicators, junction boxes, and other accessories related to the weighing system.

Calibration: They calibrate instruments to ensure accurate measurement and control of parameters. Calibration involves adjusting instrument settings and parameters to match known reference standards.

Maintenance: Instrumentation technicians perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and longevity of instrumentation and control systems. This includes cleaning, lubricating, and replacing components as needed to prevent malfunctions and breakdowns.

Troubleshooting: When instrumentation or control systems malfunction, technicians diagnose the problem using various tools and techniques such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic software.
