Job Description

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and assistance to our clients. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of servers, storage, routers, switches, and other networking equipment, as well as coordinating with our Field Engineers FE to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of servers, storage, routers, switches, and related networking equipment.

Immediate Joiner: We prefer candidates who can join our team immediately.

Experience: Possess 48 years of relevant experience in the networking field.

Ticketing Tools: Proficient in using ticketing tools like Zoho Desk to manage and resolve customer requests.

Ticket Assignment: Assign customer tickets to the appropriate Field Engineers FE based on their skills and availability.

Customer Communication: Coordinate with FEs and provide regular updates to customers, ensuring their satisfaction.

Customer Handling: Have handson experience in handling customer inquiries, issues, and escalations.

Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Team Coordination: Collaborate with colleagues and demonstrate experience in team coordination.

SLA Compliance: Work on SLA Service Level Agreement based projects, ensuring timely resolution of customer issues.

Qualifications

A bachelors degree in a related field is preferred.

Relevant certifications in networking e.g., CCNA, CCNP are a plus.

Proven experience in technical support and customer service roles.

Familiarity with networking protocols, hardware, and software.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
