Mould/Die Fitter

Roles & Responsibilities :-

Oversee the assembly/disassembly of molds and tooling on machinery and process equipment.

Fitting and assembly of tooling and moulds to engineering drawings

Complete and document mold testing.

Using hand tools to fit and assemble components.

Using pillar drills, deburing tools and grinding wheels where necessary.

Use engineering measuring equipment where necessary.

Drilling and tapping of components where necessary

Regulate molding settings and their optimal adjustment.

Oversee production startup/stoppage according to the schedule.

Identify and analyze problems, and provide effective solutions throughout the production process.

Conduct minor maintenance on machines and equipment, and supervise staff on the shift.

Required Candidate Profile:-

Hold a secondary school/ Diploma in Plastic Technology and regulating of molding machines, or an equivalent.

Have 3-4 years of experience in plastic injection molding.

Have sufficient knowledge of CNC/VMC Machine.

Training in plastic materials processing an asset.

Communication and teamwork skills.
