Job Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced IBDP Spanish Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience teaching Spanish, preferably in an International Baccalaureate (IB) program. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in Spanish or a related field

Teaching certification or qualification

Proven experience teaching Spanish to high school students

Expertise in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)

Familiarity with the IB Spanish curriculum

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Passion for teaching and a dedication to student success

Ability to create and deliver engaging and effective lessons

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Fluency in both written and spoken Spanish

Roles And Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Spanish language lessons for IBDP students

Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote student engagement and foster a love for the Spanish language and culture

Develop and implement appropriate assessment strategies to measure student learning and progress

Provide constructive feedback to students and support their language development

Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the Spanish language program

Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on teaching methodologies and IB curriculum

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance

Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
