Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate IB PYP Homeroom Teacher to join our team at Teacher Pool. As an IB PYP Homeroom Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP). This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in Education (B. Ed.) or Post Graduate Diploma in International Education (PGDIE) or Certificate in International and Development Education (CIDTL)

Experience as a Primary Homeroom Teacher or Primary Teacher in IB or CAIE Preferred.

Strong knowledge of the IB PYP curriculum

Passion for teaching and working with young children

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Roles And Responsibilities

Implement the IB PYP curriculum and create lesson plans based on curriculum standards

Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in a homeroom setting

Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and teaching practices

Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student performance and progress

Participate in professional development and training opportunities

Ensure the safety and well-being of students
