Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Female Hostel Warden to join our team at Teacher Pool. As the Female Hostel Warden, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hostel, ensuring the safety and well-being of the female students, and creating a conducive living environment for them. This is a full-time position based in Ballari, Karnataka, India, and requires a Mid-Level candidate with 4 to 6 years of experience in hostel management.

Qualifications And Skills

Proven experience as a Hostel Warden or in a similar role

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Ability to effectively handle student management and conflicts

Empathy and understanding towards the needs and challenges of students living in a hostel

Ability to enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a supportive and nurturing environment

Knowledge of safety and security procedures

A degree in Education or a related field is preferred

Roles And Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the female hostel, including room allocation, maintenance, and cleanliness

Ensure the safety and security of the hostel residents and enforce disciplinary rules

Supervise and support the hostel staff, including housekeeping and security personnel

Promote a positive and inclusive living environment by organizing and facilitating community-building activities

Address and resolve conflicts or issues among the hostel residents

Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians regarding the well-being and progress of the students

Coordinate with the educational staff to ensure the academic success of the students

Manage the hostel budget and maintain records of expenses

Implement and enforce hostel rules and regulations to promote a structured and disciplined living environment

Conduct regular inspections of the hostel facilities to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met

Provide guidance and support to students in their personal and academic development
