Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IB PYP Homeroom Teacher to join our team. As an IB PYP Homeroom Teacher, you will be responsible for providing quality education to students in accordance with the IB PYP curriculum. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 to 3 years of teaching experience and a strong understanding of the IB PYP framework.

Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field

Valid teaching certification

Proven experience in teaching the IB PYP curriculum

Excellent knowledge and understanding of the IB PYP framework

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians

Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment

Roles And Responsibilities

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that are in line with the IB PYP curriculum

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement

Develop and implement appropriate assessment strategies to monitor student progress

Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement interdisciplinary units of inquiry

Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their full potential

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to update them on student progress and address any concerns

Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Contribute to the overall school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events
