Job Description

Develop detailed designs for sheet metal components based on project requirements, specifications, and functional considerations.

Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models of sheet metal parts.

Choose appropriate sheet metal materials based on factors such as strength, durability, and cost.

Consider material thickness and properties to meet design and performance criteria.

Specify tolerances and fits to ensure proper assembly and functionality of sheet metal components.

Consider factors like expansion, contraction, and thermal effects.
