Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

4-6 years of experience in construction estimation.

Proficient in estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar.

Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and codes.

Understanding of project management principles.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Roles And Responsibilities

Conduct cost and risk analysis for projects in the construction industry.

Prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze project requirements and develop cost-effective solutions.

Monitor and track project expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Review and evaluate contractor bids for accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during the estimation phase.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in construction estimation.

Support the business development team in preparing technical bids and presentations.

Maintain documentation and records related to cost estimates and project evaluations.
