Role: Human Resources Generalist

Location: Charlotte, NC

Type: Contract to Hire

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile HR Generalist to join our team in a contract-to-hire role. You will play a key role in providing comprehensive HR support, including managing employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll backup. With at least 8 years of experience in a similar role, you possess strong HR knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

Human Resources Generalist:

Conduct employee onboarding, performance reviews, and terminations.

Manage employee relations, including resolving conflict and addressing employee concerns.

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

Assist with recruitment and selection processes.

Oversee employee benefits administration (e.g., health insurance, retirement plan).

Provide HR support to management and staff.

Payroll Backup:

Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.

Troubleshoot payroll issues and answer employee inquiries.

Prepare and submit payroll reports.

Maintain payroll tax compliance.

Requirements:

Minimum of 8 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.

Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law.

Experience with payroll processing and tax compliance preferred.

Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software systems.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong sense of accuracy.

Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
