Document Manager

Project Partners is seeking an experienced Document Manager with 10+ years of experience to assist our public client in the Trabuco Canyon area. The position will be on-site and part-time (approximately 10 hours per week).

The Document Manager duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Develop and maintain a document system and procedures to ensure efficient and effective document control process.

Implement and manage the document control system, including document numbering, processing, distribution, and archiving.

Train employees in the use of the document management system and procedures.

Ensure that all documentation complies with regulatory, legal, and quality requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that documents are reviewed, approved, and released on schedule.

Organize and maintain a central repository of documents, ensuring that documents are easily accessible and retrievable.

Ensure that all documents are properly labeled, indexed, and filed in a timely manner.

The Document Manager will have:

Bachelorâ s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field is desired, or equivalent work experience

Minimum of 10 years of experience in document control or related field

Experience managing a document management system, including document numbering, processing, distribution, and archiving in the public sector

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.)

Valid CA Driverâ s License and proof of insurance
