Position Title: Service Technician

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, Non-Exempt

Reports to: Service Director/Service Manager

Technician Position Description: Service Technicians will assist with the prescribed and routine maintenance, diagnosis and repair of commercial refrigeration equipment commonly installed and used in but not limited to the following: offices, restaurants, convenient stores, theatres and cold storage facilities. This is a full time field position. Essential Functions:

* Display and maintain technical abilities as an expert with knowledge in commercial HVAC and Refrigeration. These items include, but are not limited to: Walk-in freezers/coolers, Reach-in freezer/refrigerators, Air Conditioning units under 30 tons, ice machines, draft system glycol chillers, controls, electrical, rack systems, equipment typically found in the HVAC/Refrigeration/Mechanical industry.

* Ensure quality with pro-active maintenance activities by diagnosing advance equipment malfunction and any operating deficiency.

Installer Position Description: Installers will install prescribed commercial refrigeration, ice, beverage, draft beer equipment and water systems commonly used in restaurants, convenient stores, theatres, breweries, cold storage facilities. This is a full time field position. Essential Functions:

*Display and maintain the mechanical abilities to: but not limited to: the use of hand tools, power tools, level, measuring devices, read and understand prints, understand basic electricity.

*Ensure Quality Installations

*Refrigeration, Plumbing, and Electrical installation experience a plus.

Note: Will train non-experienced hardworking individuals with mechanical abilities eager to learn and thrive to work hard.

Technicians and Installers

* Engage in continued education. This includes arranging ride-alongs for Maintenance Technicians every 30-60 days, attending vendor classes, attending pre-arranged classroom curriculum, and conducting pre-arranged classroom curriculum.

* Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

* Safety first. Safety is everyone's responsibility and will be displayed when driving company vehicles, conducting repairs, installing new equipment, and other potentially hazardous activities.

* Maintain personal hygiene, clean and presentable vehicles

Minimum Qualifications for Technicians:

Great Attitude

Reliable

* Experience in service and repair of commercial HVACR

* EPA licensed a +

* Clean driving record

* Available for work 6am-8pm, necessary overtime, weekend and some night work

* On call approximately every 3 weeks.

* Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

* 2 years of Customer Service.

* Self-motivated

Minimum Qualifications for Installers

Great Attitude

Reliable

* Mechanical experience. Commercial HVACR, Plumbing or Electrical experience a plus

* EPA licensed a plus

* Clean driving record

* Available for work 5am-8pm, necessary overtime, some weekend and night work, some NorCal Travel

* On call approximately every 3 weeks.

* Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

* 2 years of Customer Service.

* Self-motivated

Hours of work:

* Monday -- Friday, availability 6am-6pm, overtime hours maybe required or available.

* On call approximately every 3-4 weeks.

* Open depending on experience.
