Diesel Mechanic

CTR Group is seeking several Diesel Mechanicâ s. Immediate openings and urgently hiring!

PAY: $19-$27 depending on experience. Plus $120 for non-local

SKILLS:

Use of calibrated instruments, such as dial Indicators, micrometers, calipers, depth mics, torque wrenches, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Foundation Chock work

Disassembling Diesel engine and testing

Removing propellers, and hubs

Engine Alignments/ Engine coupling work

Understand WAF processes, ability to work a WAF from start to finish

Understand Diesel Engines and how they operate or be proficient in shafting, clutches and reduction gears

Proficient at reading and using tech manuals, EATPS, PCPâ s

Be proficient as a Lead Mechanic capable of guiding and training junior Mechanics with minimum supervision

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have at least 1 year of experience in diesel engine repair and or outside machinist

Knowledge of WAFâ s a plus

Must be able to complete work with little guidance from Supervisor

Basic knowledge of Standard Items a plus

Must have basic knowledge of shop equipment

Works well with others
