Deburring Operator: Roscoe, IL

Our customer in Roscoe, Illinois is looking for talented individuals to join their world-class manufacturing family. As a Deburring Operator, you will primarily be responsible for removing burrs from plastic and metal gearing using brushes, red wheels, files, and other tools as needed.

Responsibilities of the Deburring Operator:

Read and understand job traveler work instructions regarding deburring.

Utilize various methods to remove burrs form gears including filing and brushing.

File parts on the lathe.

Operate a buffer.

Understand and be aware of machinery capabilities and limitations.

Correctly fill out all necessary paperwork.

Accurately count parts.

Machine maintenance.

Deburring Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

Deburring experience preferred.

Ability to lift/carry 20-45 pounds (upward pulling).

Material handling skills.

Strong communication skills required.

Basic computer skills.

Self-motivation.

Five years’ experience in field

Pay for Deburring Operator: $12-$22/hour depending on experience.

Type: 2nd Shift, Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 4:15pm - 2:45am with overtime on Friday.
