Veterinary Nurse

Swords Veterinary Hospital has a vacancy for a Veterinary Nurse to join our team. We are a privately owned practice where there are always opportunities to progress your nursing skills.

The Pet Emergency Hospital provides our out of hours cover.

Great working hours - shifts are 8am-3.30pm or 2pm-8pm, weekends are one in four and you would have the following Wednesday off.

Our nurses' daily routines involve alternating between surgery duties, nurse consults and in-patients' responsibilities as per a daily schedule which runs concurrently with the nurses' rota.

The job would ideally suit someone with experience but all applications would be considered. Good communication skills are essential.

Salary range is between is €33,300 - €37,400 per annum and is commensurate with experience. The position is based on a paid 40 hour week however our nurses' average working week is approximately 34.5 hours.
