Coho Technology Solutions is looking for a ROSCO/ CARMN Back-End Developer (Sr.) to provide maintenance and development using tools such as "C" and PL-SQL in a Linux Oracle database environment. Design and develop Webservices used to interface with other systems.

This position reports to the onsite Project Manager, and is in US Census Bureau.

Essential Job Functions:

Developing with relevant software languages (C, PL/SQL, Linux shell scripts)

Working with large, complex Oracle databases

Writing programs that exchange data with external systems in various formats (e.g., database tables, XML, ASCII, SQL-Loader, PROC*, etc.)

Conducting performance testing/tuning using advanced PL/SQL techniques, performing audit control processing, scripting, source control tools, production support, process audit control, data profiling

Troubleshooting at all levels: development, testing, and production, perform systems analysis, design, and development

Design and implement secure code for software applications

Perform testing and maintain large software applications

Follow Software Configuration Management techniques and practices

Perform iterative code development

Perform troubleshooting and supporting production applications

Evaluate, identify, and present alternatives for software

Assist other developers with technical solutions

Design ETL Process for large Oracle databases

Experience in other programing languages such as Java

Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Essential Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems Technology or a related field of study

Required Knowledge/Experience:

Requires 5+ years of IT software development experience

Experience with Oracle 19c Developer's Suite (Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports)

Experience with TOAD for Oracle 12.8.0.49

Experience with Remedy 9.1.08

Experience with the software development life cycle

Experience working with Change Management Software (e.g., Serena Business Manager, GitHub Enterprise Server 3.3, GitHub Desktop 3.0.8)

Experience working with large Oracle data warehouse

3 years of handling all types of ETL data (e.g., XML, ASCII,

Experience with Advanced PL/SQL and PROC* Languages. etc.)

Experience with Micro Focus Reflection Desktop for X Version 17.0.634.0

Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Products

Ability to obtain Public Trust from Census Investigative Services (CIS) prior to commencement of Census Bureau work

Preferred Knowledge/Experience:

PriorS. Census Bureau and/or federal agency consultant experience

Excellent client relationship, communication, and interpersonal skills
