Junior CAD Designer - 1st Shift

We are seeking candidates for Junior CAD Designer roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities is $18.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? What you’ll do as a Junior CAD Designer:

Utilize CAD software to design and model components as per project specifications

Create and revise drawings, models, and prototypes, ensuring alignment with client and project requirements

Develop and optimize CNC programs to manufacture precision components

Perform machine setups and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC operations

Manage daily office tasks, including generating reports, organizing files, and updating social media platforms

Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries via email, and assisting with pricing and quotes

Handle special design assignments as needed and incorporate feedback to refine processes and outputs

What you need to be a Junior CAD Designer:

Experience with design software such as CAD, SolidWorks, and graphics editing tools (Photoshop, CorelDRAW, etc.)

Familiarity with design techniques such as prototyping

Ability to work well with a team

Strong attention to detail

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

5 S/Lean general knowledge or understanding
