Intermediate Full Stack Developer

Sage Recruiting is looking for an Intermediate Full Stack Developer to join a leading proptech solution provider in North America. They’re a fast-growing startup building enterprise software and were just named by Forbes as one of the top employers in the space. This company is revolutionizing the rental real estate industry through innovative technology solutions and their software eliminates waste, chaos, and unnecessary costs, making their customers more productive & profitable.

What you will be doing

Engage in feature development across all development stages: from conceptualization to coding, testing, and deployment.

Collaborate on innovative concepts for swift prototyping and experimentation, fostering ongoing enhancement.

Make thoughtful decisions in addressing technical debt, selecting third-party solutions, and navigating trade-offs to uphold a well-structured, clean, and scalable codebase.

Actively participate in code evaluation and provide constructive input on design documentation, contributing to the continuous growth of the engineering team.

Contribute to diverse projects, including the company’s Mobile app for iOS and Android, Angular-based web applications, microservices developed with Node.js, and a Business Intelligence platform.

Employ a technology stack encompassing Typescript, Angular, Ionic, Node.js, MongoDB, Docker, and AWS for the development and deployment of products, ensuring robustness and efficiency.

What we are looking for

2+ years of professional software development experience

Fluency in Javascript/Typescript (Node.JS)

Experience with Angular

Experience with non-relational databases - MongoDB or noSQL

Experience with HTML5 and CSS3

Proficient in software design, development, and testing abilities gained through either an impressive academic history or hands-on professional experience

Having an entrepreneurial mindset, ready to roll up sleeves and wear multiple hats

Always seeking new ways of building the right product for the right audience

Exposure to a dynamic, customer-centric setting

Thrive in a deeply collaborative work setting

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have

Experience with Ionic & Capacitor

Experience with AWS

Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration systems
