About the Role

Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, scalability, and security of our customers’ infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various AWS technologies, Docker, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and must be familiar with monitoring using DataDog and automation/CI/CD using GitHub Actions. The candidate will work closely with development teams to build and deploy applications, manage infrastructure, and troubleshoot issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our customers’ infrastructure.

Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi and Typescript.

Automate infrastructure deployments and server provisioning using GitHub Actions.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions.

Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using DataDog.

Monitor and troubleshoot issues in our production environment using DataDog.

Design with security in mind and collaborate with the security team to ensure our infrastructure is secure.

Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure and procedures.

Work closely with development teams to build and deploy applications.

Be on-call for incidents outside of business hours.

About You:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or related role.

Strong experience with AWS including VPC configuration, ECS Fargate, EC2, Load Balancers, Storage, AWS Route 53, and VPN.

Familiarity with provisioning and operating databases and message brokers including MongoDb, Postgress, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.

Programming experience in JavaScript/Typescript or C#

Experience with GitHub and automation tools such as GitHub Actions.

Knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.

Familiarity with monitoring using DataDog.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
