The Opportunity:

The International Wholesale Manager will report to the VP, Strategic Partnerships while simultaneously contributing to the B2B sales function within SNDL. The role is best suited for an individual who has a relentless passion for building and fostering customer relationships, building strategic partnerships, uses data to influence decision making, embraces cross-functional collaboration, and has an innate ability to negotiate. This individual will have the skills to be able to function independently, as well as part of a broader team within the Strategic Partnerships team.

As an International Wholesale Manager, you will:

Manage bulk biomass procurement and sales, with internal and external partners

Oversee and manage bulk concentrate and derivate sales

Seek new business to target revenue goals but identify and lead monetization opportunities with internal excess inventory

Manage international business opportunities, bulk. Support B2B with finished goods sales.

Oversee contract growing relationships

Liaise with departmental leaders to manage and execute on processes to manage inbound opportunities

Manage planning of available capacity with production and supply chain leaders, to execute business opportunities

Meet department goals and sales targets

Practice best in market procurement of biomass to meet input requirements on both quality and price

Foster new business opportunities and follow up with current clients regarding upselling

Sound financial business cases on new opportunities to share with executive team for approval

Build and manage financial models with internal finance teams to ensure business opportunities meet departmental targets

Develop a Wholesale Customer Management tool to catalog and document client opportunities

As an International Wholesale Manager, you bring:

Post-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, or related field

3-5 years’ experience in B2B sales/business development role involving sales, relationship building with clients, contract negotiation and account management

Demonstrated experience and understanding of the processes involved in supply chain, inventory, retail and customer service.

Experience in cannabis, CPG, Beverages, Pharma or relatable industries an asset

Knowledge of the cannabis sector (major companies, stakeholders, business models, regulatory environment, etc.) is a strong asset

Proven track record in achieving sales quotas and KPI targets

Previous success in building and growing relationships with accounts

Able to work independently

Solutions orientated

Strong knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
