**This role is home-office based, but it is required that candidates live in the territory in order to visit customers. Candidates must live near the Kitchener-Cambridge-Waterloo area.**

Our client is a 50+ year old industrial automation manufacturer that is looking for someone to drive rapid growth in the Southern Ontario territory by acquiring new customers and growing existing accounts through consultative relationship building. The territory is well established, but has yet to reach its potential, providing a unique opportunity for growth and attainment bonuses.

Position offers base salary + bonuses paid monthly/quarterly/annually + company car + great benefits package.

Responsibilities:

Sell a variety of industrial automation products, directly to OEMs, End-Users, and Integrators in multiple industries.

Sales strategy development, account planning, prospecting, and sales execution to close deals with businesses across many different verticals.

Maintain effective relations with OEMs, End-Users, and Integrators and help maximize their success.

Local travel within territory to visit clients and attend meetings/training - very little overnight travel is expected.

Requirements/Qualifications:

5+ years of proven sales experience within industrial automation or manufacturing.

At least 5 years experience selling sensors and other industrial automation products.

Hunter/Prospecting/Business Development sales background and profile.

Territory is the Southern Ontario metro area, so little overnight travel is required.

Must be fluent in English, bilingual in French is preferred.
