Summary of Position
The Manager, Investments & Asset Management will work closely with the investment and asset management team. Reporting into the COO, the Manager, Investments & Asset Management will drive asset level optimization and lead strategic acquisitions within a coverage geography. The ideal candidate will have a breadth of experiences across geographies and asset classes, have an energetic and adaptive personality and thrive working in a team. The position will require excellent communication and analytical abilities while embracing that the roles serves as an ambassador for the Pacific Reach brand.
Responsibilities
Asset management and acquisitions leadership for geographical coverage with emphasis on either Canada or the United States for diverse portfolio of multifamily and commercial real estate assets
Undertake thorough due diligence on acquisitions and embrace an analytical-yet-opportunistic approach to driving growth of the portfolio
Work with the Executive team in recommending and executing on actionable investments, divestitures, capital programs and operating best-practices
Serve as a key member of Pacific Reach investment team and embrace market-facing role to generate opportunities across verticals
Requirements
Enthusiasm and passion for real estate investment and asset management; competitive drive to outperform
5+ years of professional experience in real estate investment and asset management with strong track record of execution
Relevant higher education and/or certifications in finance, real estate, land use economics
Self-driven, excellent financial acumen, creative problem solver, great teammate and opportunity finder
Willingness to travel to the US and Toronto regularly
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities
Enjoys working from the office full-time
