Lead Mobile Developer (React Native)

What you will be doing

Advocate for and refine software development best practices and workflows.

Create, build, and optimize mobile applications for peak performance.

Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to deliver compelling products and services.

Actively participate in brainstorming, technical planning, development, and testing of product features.

Shape the company’s technical direction, influencing the expansion of our services and the creation of new products.

Identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement within our technical framework, and actively contribute to implementing these enhancements.

Lead and oversee the development and upkeep of comprehensive technical documentation to ensure clarity and consistency in project understanding.

Assume full project ownership, with the ability to work independently and remotely.

Guide and train new team members, equipping them with essential tools and knowledge.

Facilitate team meetings and discussions to promote effective communication and collaboration among team members.

Serve as a point of contact for addressing technical challenges, offering guidance and solutions to the team.

What we are looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

6+ years’ experience in software development

3+ years’ experience in Android and iOS development (preferably using React Native)

Experience with React.js web development (preferred)

Proficiency with GCP or AWS

Solid grasp of coding for mobile platforms

Proven track record of integrating third-party SDKs into mobile applications.

Knowledgeable about managing applications throughout their lifecycle on both Apple App Store and Google Play Store

Adept at troubleshooting in various environments and across multiple operating platforms

Proficiency in rapidly prototyping design concepts

Strong understanding of cross-platform design principles

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have:

Hands-on experience with mobile cameras and biometrics

Knowledge of Google Firebase, TestLab

TDD

End to end CI/CD
