Key Role Profile:

As a Project Manager you will lead on a number of commercial projects representing Unispace in a professional manor while gaining the confidence and trust of the client during the full project lifecycle.

In this role you will be site based carrying out full project management. You will be the main point of contact for clients, contractors and senior management. You will create a programme for each project to make sure everything runs on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibilities will include the full Project Management of projects to help deliver the regions plan. The Delivery team at Unispace are self-motivated, driven and focused on delivering construction excellence, exceptional standards around health & Safety, true attention to detail and constant positive work ethic.

The main elements of the role involve the following:

Ensuring projects meet financial targets

Ensuring thorough understanding of project terms (contract) and Unispace 80/20 methodology

Executing project delivery strategy

Ensuring all monthly financial project reports are reviewed for accuracy and profitability

Managing client and supply chain vendors (project specific stakeholders)

Controlling documentation quality

Adhering to health and safety

Managing programs/ schedules

Effective client communication throughout the delivery phase

Leading the integration of disciplines (strategy, client relations, business development, marketing & communications, design, project management) to enable the effective delivery of our Unispace 80/20 methodology within projects

Leading and developing a high performing local project delivery team

Collaborating across disciplines, regions, studios

Managing the performance of consultants

Contributing to the creation of a high performing, innovative team environment

Effective internal communication throughout all phases of the project

Implementing Delivery best practices/standards, processes and technology solutions within the studio to enhance the capability and effectiveness of the organisation/team

Identifying and reporting risk to Principal, Delivery and Regional Managing Director, where relevant, whilst operating in compliance with ethical practices

Project close out

Key Measures:

Budget and net profit targets met

Effective cash flow management

Accurate and timely reporting of project performance

Effective sub-contractor negotiation

Secures repeat client business

Client satisfaction in line with organisational goals

High % of project milestones delivered on time

Colleague cooperation and engagement towards achieving project outcomes.

Delivers project reports (schedule, accoutrement, financials)

O&M manual, as built financial close out in timely manner

Achieve quality assurance and quality control

Actions taken to identify and resolve risks and issues

Consistency of standards, technology solutions and process across local studio to achieve global brand capability, drive best practices, and achieve efficiencies

Key Qualifications, experience & skills:

You must be graduate caliber and have a Construction and/or related Project management qualification (desired but not essential)

Managed multiple successful projects varying in size, value and complexity

Led a project team

Help with project pitches

Project procurement

Sub contractor selection

Experience with project management software tools and Microsoft office suite

Commercial interior office fit-outs

Design & Build experience
