Work Preparation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Makes 3D models from shop drawings and structural drawings.

• Identifies structure members from structural drawing and makes individual model.

• Specifies and models pipe segments from isometric drawing.

• Distinguishes different types of steel members based on structural drawings.

• Programs CNC machine code of cutting macros for different type of steel member profiles.

• Identifies and programs weld preparation requirements on CNC for every type of steel member.

• Works and collaborates with global team members in Contracting division at the Netherlands HQ.

• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Inventor or SolidWorks) is a must.

• Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) software (i.e. Tekla, Spoolgen, etc.) is an advantage.

• Highly motivated and work well in/with a team.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to details.

• Strong communications skills.

• Applicants must be willing to work in Bajada, Davao City.

Education and Experience:

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field, preferably with PRC license;

• Knowledge in structural and pipe lay outing is a plus; and

• Experience with mechanical design and control systems.
