Job Title: Business Development Manager - Powders

Location: West Coast, United States (Remote)

Salary: $150k + bonus

A company that specializes in Metal Injection Molding is hiring a Business Development Manager to join the team on the West Coast.

About the Role:

As the Business Development Manager for Metal Powders, you will be responsible for identifying potential applications for high-quality metal powders in the North American market (USA, Canada & Mexico). Your primary focus will be on developing and nurturing relationships with potential customers, conducting product presentations, and promoting our capabilities through various marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify potential applications for Metal Powders in the North American market

Conduct customer education presentations and technical discussions

Utilize SalesForce platform to log sales promotion activities and manage RFQ/Quote pipeline

Execute marketing campaigns including email, webinars, and phone calls

Generate monthly reports on prospecting activities and sales promotion visits

Coordinate closely with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth production introduction

Develop and implement sales promotion plans including participation in trade shows and targeted advertisements

Additional Duties:

Provide after-sales support to existing customers and maintain high levels of customer confidence

Coordinate with quality and engineering teams to resolve quality and delivery issues

Assist in resolving design change requests and accounts receivable delinquency

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering with 4-8 years of industrial experience

Aptitude for sales and strong interpersonal skills

Working knowledge of metal powder applications, additive manufacturing, and metallurgy
