Your Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at a cutting-edge semiconductor fabrication plant in Manassas, Virginia. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring each project is completed in the most efficient manner, safely, on time, within budget and within acceptable quality standards.

The Project Coordinator will be assigned multiple projects, mostly construction related, and will be responsible for managing the project team(s), participating in project scope development, and developing an overall project strategy.

Your Job Description:

Project Coordination:

Participate in project scope development.

Develop an overall project approach strategy.

Critical path and funding approach.

Project budget development including detailed cost estimates.

Project schedule development

Coordinating between the project requester’s needs, the engineering schedule and workload, along with the subcontractors’ construction time and workload.

Plan review with emphasis on constructability and component lead time.

Coordinate with the Area Coordinator, the Customer, and Engineering to budget quarterly and monthly for construction work.

Submit for funding.

Control and monitor spending against the approved funds.

Control and monitor the schedule to meet critical project dates.

Communicate with all regulatory groups (Safety, Environmental, etc.) or Authority having Jurisdiction as required on each project.

Prepare and maintain monthly cash flow projections, prepare, as needed, construction status reports or attend construction project status meetings.

Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, drive all projects to conclusion and close them.

Environmental, Health and Safety:

Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Report all EHSS-related concerns or problems immediately to the appropriate individual (ERT, Supervisor, Security etc.)

Be proactive in reducing incidents of personal injuries and all safety hazards in the workplace.

Maintains a high level of safety knowledge and actively participates in safety programs (i.e. good catch program)

Demonstrates safety in the workplace (i.e., evacuation procedures, responding to emergencies, and location of safety showers)

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or relevant experience

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project management capacity

Experience in a high-tech manufacturing/construction environment, semiconductor experience is a plus.

Ability to communicate effectively with personnel of all levels, lead meetings and maintain good working relationships.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and project software

Must be proficient at conflict management and resolution.
