Our client is a chemicals manufacturer that has a fantastic opportunity for an E&I Maintenance Superintendent with 6+ years of experience with a background in maintenance from the Refinery or Chemical Plant industries.
This opportunity will be a full time/ permanent position with an excellent overall compensation and benefits package including competitive base salary, annual bonus and excellent benefits. Relocation assistance will be provided if required.
Description:
Responsibilities:
· Drive safety everyday through leadership and direction to achieve client’s safety vision “Home Safe Everyday”
· Lead the daily activities of the Instrument and Electrical Maintenance team
· Develop and manage I&E work scope on daily and weekly schedules, turnaround, and routine outages
· Manage emergency work and ensure mitigation of plant vulnerabilities
· Communicate across site teams and support other department efforts as required
· Lead/Participate in incident investigations as required
· Ensure compliance in areas of responsibility, including but not limited to: SIS testing requirements; Environmental analyzers; PM’s; MOC’s; PSM Corrective Action as assigned
· Manage cost targets as required (i.e. yearly budget, overtime, contract bids, change order management, etc…)
Experience & Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
· 7 years I&E Maintenance experience in petrochemical or related industry required, including 3 years of leadership experience
· Familiarity with related industry codes and standards including NFPA 70E, NFPA 70B, ISA 81, ISA 61511, and NETA is preferred
· Analytical and controls systems experience preferred
· Associates or engineering technology degree will be considered with related experience
· Ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card
