Position Summary
The Chief Risk Officer is responsible for managing the execution and overseeing risk management activities across the bank established by the CEO and Board of Directors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework for the bank to include all risks identified by the bank's primary regulator.
Identify, assess, and mitigate all types of risks.
Develop and implement risk guidelines to be approved by the board of directors.
Conduct risk assessments.
Report risk information to the Board of Directors and senior management
Stay up to date on changes in the regulatory environment.
Adhere to the BSA Policy and all other Bank Policies.
Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
Bachelor's degree in finance, risk management, or related field.
Eight to ten years of experience in risk management required, preferably in the banking.
Proven experience in developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Possesses an intimate knowledge of internal business processes and the banking industry.
Exhibits business process knowledge and possesses a broad-based operational perspective of a financial institution.
Attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
