Financial Analyst II

A government contractor is in the market for a Financial Analyst II. The company is based in Reston VA, operating hybrid. This is a direct hire role paying $90-$115k and previous GovCon project finance experience is needed.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage project financial planning both strategically and departmentally

Monitor actual to budgeted costs and report to leaders

Develop budgets related to materials and labor

Support individual managers with the development of their respective cost analysis

Partner with the business, contracts, and procurement teams on contract modeling/ negotiation/execution for key contracts.

Approve and monitor charge codes, purchase requisitions, etc

Qualifications

BS degree in Finance, MBA preferred.

3+ years experience in financial analysis, forecasting/budgeting

Experience working for a government contractor utilizing Deltek Costpoint

US Citizenship

Ability to commute to Reston VA 2-3 days/week
