Head of IT Engineering / Leading Multi-Strat Hedge Fund / High Base +

A prominent multi-strategy hedge fund, with a global presence, is in search of a Head of IT Engineering to lead their desktop/infrastructure support division, based at their New York office. Candidates will need experience with face-to-face VIP support, strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach and attention to detail are all a must.

Experience with scripting in Powershell, Windows 10/11, Office 365, Teams, Zoom, Azure Virtual Desktop & Citrix VDI, Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022, Exchange 2016, Exchange Online, Nimble, Airwatch, iOS, Android, Cisco Networking and Cisco Voice & Collaboration, VMWare, SQL, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, LAN/WAN, VPN.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on engineering experience within a leading hedge fund or investment bank, with a comprehensive skill set encompassing desktop and infrastructure support from levels 1 to 3. Additionally, preference will be given to those with an exceptional academic background from a top-tier university.

Those candidates with experience with Patch Management, Networking, Load Balancers, experience with Bloomberg and Reuters, and an understanding of SRE/DEVOPS principles are preferred.
