Raise Workforce has partnered with a well established, diversified construction company, and they are looking for Civil Site Work Foremen to join there team in Berlin, CT and Auburn, MA. They offer lots of ongoing support for skills and career development. Medical and Dental Benefits after 30 days, and more to follow after 90 days of employment.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background is construction with a progressive career. Demonstrated hands-on leadership with a skilled trades certifications in Carpentry, Plumber, Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright, or HVAC is preferred.

What you will be doing...

Coordinates activities of work crew engaged in the installation of underground utilities, building pad excavations, and general site grading.

Understands construction and schematic drawings enough to install work per the plans and specifications.

Promote and exhibits safe working habits and practices; active awareness of site regulations

Other duties as assigned

Why this is the right job for you…

High school diploma or equivalent and additional specialized training equal to a master craft designation.

Minimum 5 years' of progressive experience in site work or utility construction.

Strong ability to delivery projects on time and within limits; ability to adapt as required based on data

Possess the leadership ability necessary to lead, motivate and direct the work of subordinates.

Physically, working foreman must be able to work easily and skillfully with hands, lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds, have good vision either naturally or with correction, and stand, stoop, kneel or crouch.

OSHA 10 Construction Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training).

Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.

Team player with a positive and a proactive attitude

Self-motivated and driven

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
