Manages claims department in all its aspects including leading, planning, analyzing reporting, staffing, training, and supervising. To ensure the most efficient use and allocation of resources through constant review and improvement and finally to provide appropriate service levels which support customer satisfaction objectives.
Key Responsibilities And Duties
Strategy:
Define and implement local Claims strategy in line with other local functions and with the region
Contribute to customer loyalty development by offering outstanding level of service
Actively support/ implement business objectives and business plans
Lead local Claims committee
Budget: Prepare the local Claims annual budget
Team Management:
Manage, develop and motivate the local Claims team
Manage the team's performance in alignment with the objectives
Ensure proper training process is in place for the team
Other tasks:
Be involved in the management of largest and most complex claims
Be the owner of Claims databases/systems and ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy of reporting
Take an active part in Claims projects
Ensure efficient collaboration with other teams/functions (collection, risk, PA, MMCD, Finance)
Act as local Claims process / System owner: Review continuously local performance and processes, contribute to systems improvement strategy
Be the local escalation point of contact for claims
Required Qualifications And Skills
Market knowledge:
Knowledge of Claims and Collections processes and systems
Knowledge of Quality Standards, C&C operational guidelines
Ability to identify mandatory documents per type of claims/collection
Required skills:
Be able to work well both on a team and independently Strong oral and written communication skills

Business expertise:
Excellent claim assessment skills, knowledge of local legal and insolvency practices, and working knowledge of international practices related to claims and debt collection
Detailed knowledge of EH products, systems, and working practices
Bachelor's degree in Administration, Commerce, or related field
Minimum 2-4 years experience
Manage a team of claims assessors
Analytical skills to enforce policy wording and determine the appropriate course of action in settling complex claims
Ability to align with collection activities
