Quality Manager

DSJ Global is partnered with a leading manufacturer in the Chemical industry. This company contributes to making chemicals to are used in semiconductor manufacturing. They are looking to add a Quality Manager to their team in the Rhode Island area. This role will primarily be responsible for leading and executing the quality manufacturing process of the chemicals.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing the quality program in order to meet customer needs

Serves as a resources for identifying issues, problem solving, and continuous improvement

Monitors vendor quality performance and drives vendor quality improvements

Participates in both internal and external audits

Reviews contracts, change requests, and customer purchase orders ensuring all the necessary criteria are met

Reports any quality issues to the Operations Director and senior management

Preform root-cause analysis and identify the most effective corrective actions and improvements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field

10 years of Quality Assurance experience

5 + years of experience in the chemical industry

5 + years of manufacturing experience

Background in batch processing and SPC

Six Sigma certification preferred
