We are growing in the Columbus, OH area and have an excellent opportunity for a Construction Superintendent to join our Treatment and Industrial team. This role will service construction of WWTP, water reclamation, component and complete treatment system start up and commissioning. As a Superintendent you will play a crucial role with planning, developing, coordinating, and managing onsite construction engineering activities for large, extensive projects. A Superintendent ensures that construction projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Your Responsibilities In This Role

Planning and supervising all craft professionals, including determining logistics plans, short term schedules, means and methods, workforce levels, material quantities, equipment, and client relationships

Along with the Project Manager, maintain communication with all co-workers and project stakeholders to ensure our work complies with drawings, specifications, safety, schedule, and quality

Oversee all project safety and work task planning. Coordinate with the Safety Department and perform documented safety inspections

Complete daily reports describing activities completed, critical conversations, weather conditions, etc.

Proactively manage and hold all subcontractors accountable to work agreements

Monitor all project quality; ensure all inspections, rigging plans, critical lifts, and pre-pour checklists are performed

May need to work in a dual role as a crew chief or work with tools when requested depending on company workload, project size and other job requirements

What You Need To Qualify

8-10 years of relative job experience in the construction industry

2-year construction degree or equivalent combinations of related technical training/experience

Proven ability to manage, coach, train, and mentor others

Understanding of construction scheduling and cost control

Highly collaborative work style with excellent communication skills
